To no fanfare you regain consciousness in a place that isn't your bed. ...Regardless of if that's normal to you, your mind adjusts, and you recall that you're sleeping over at the Constituent's place - the Constituent that you have been assigned to look after for an indefinite time period. You come to the quiet sound of a door opening. Mr. Kinoshita's bedroom. Bare feet pad out from the bedroom and towards the bathroom. Mr. Kinoshita is starting his day, you think. Nobody crawled out from under his bed and killed him in his sleep, thank God (or unfortunately?). ... Maybe you can bear to sleep in a little longer. Or not. Some goody two-shoes asked for you all to head out early.

He seems in decent spirits. In the sense that his mood is not disrupted whatsoever.

You learn that Mr. Kinoshita is a heavy smoker. This is because the room has stunk of nicotine ever since he had his first cigarette when he woke up. He's had another since. He ashes them out on his balcony, or in the sink. He managed to go on without a cigarette the other day because, just as he is compelled to smoke heavily, some days he feels compelled to not smoke at all. Or so it seems. Even if you're SHARP enough to connect the dots that it may have something to do with his job today -- one look into his eyes, and you get the sense that it's not possible for him to be nervous or have any psychological reservations. He really just felt like chainsmoking today.

Presumably, they had slept in shifts and had gotten a couple hours of sleep, preferably four, each, if they weren’t stupid. He’d stopped in the bathroom to take a take a quick rinse of a shower after Arthur had woken. That was enough. Zachary buttons his own coat all the way up, adjusting the lapels. He had anticipated getting something from a store nearby, but it was better not to be seen around the area. “Do you have food?”

This device was powered by a compressed gas canister, not through the ignition of gunpowder. It’s lighter in his palms. He holds it with the tip pointed towards the ground. The Honda Civic rolls onto the street. Whenever Arthur does a turn, the car seems to lurch the opposite side due to the combined weight of all of its occupants. Cade holds his briefcase to his chest, still. He looks out the window.

"You guys like roadtrips?" Frankie says, turning his shoulders over the middle section between the front seats to chat with the backseaters. His elbow rests on the storage compartment in th emiddle.

You eventually arrive at the lot by the sea. As you pull over, you find that the warehouses are... exactly how Cade described them, and more or less, exactly how Zachary depicted them in his drawings. As you roll in, you notice some workers wearing reflective vests and hardhats. They don't seem to care about your presence - if they notice, they either nod at Cade with a sense of recognition, and he nods back, or they merely look the other way. Everyone is colluding with everyone, you think.

Cade has Arthur pull beside that specific warehouse, in the shade. It's dark and out-of-the-way enough for the car to not be immediately obvious, and that seems about as much as Cade is willing to do.

Once you come to a full stop, Cade lets himself out of the car. He steps out a few steps, placing his briefcase onto the ground. He bends down and unlatches it. He pulls out one of many very large, folded black tarps. "Can someone open the trunk." -# @💼 Bokutachi

She gets out of the car, gently pulling off Almond's arms if she still has them wrapped around her waist. "Sure." She pops open the trunk. @li 🚭 five (kazik)

You get the sense he's done this before. Once he's finished, he pulls out his cigarette packet and pulls out a cigarette with his mouth, before stowing it away to go move onto the next tarp.

It was vital for them to do this in parallel. It gave an assailant less chance to move around. He’d stressed the importance of staying quiet and listening, but that was also the instruction they probably were least likely to follow. Well. He nods, glancing everyone over with a cool gaze. Split!

She hums and sways gently as she walks, her natural gait. The question seems to take her off guard though, red eyes giving Arthur a blink before looking forward again. "Of course. I'm eager to do well~" A simple answer. "....Why do you ask? Are you worried about me?" The idea seems to amuse her. @Jade .⚯̫ Arthur

She walks like she belongs here, with a confidence to her step and light upwards tilt to her head. Wherever she goes, she makes sure she could at least see a peek of Cade from the corner of her eye. Or at least, he's within hearing distance. Splitting is the best thing to do here. More eyes around the area, in case something happens to Cade. It's all part of the job.

The target: a near-middle-aged man in a suit. In his hand he holds a cellular device. It lowers - call suddenly dropped. "Good morning, Mr. Bianconi," Mr. Kinoshita's soft voice echoes through the warehouse. He holds out a hand to shake. The older man's brow furrows, mouth parting slightly. His hand involuntarily reaches towards the inside of his coat, but then hesitates - as if seeing The Constituent's benign presence, hand outstretched, makes him second guess. The other two tagalongs reach for their pockets as well.

He twists out from the pillar he'd been standing against - 180 degrees, facing away from the entrance. At some point between when they'd headed in and when the Target had arrived, he'd put his earbuds in. Two wires dangle to a small, rectangular music player tucked away in his pocket. Something nice is playing. Okay. Here's where the fun part happens. Frankie ducks low, dodging a first surprised swing of a pistol towards his head. One less weapon pointed at the constituent. His ankle sweeps out in a kick at a guard's ankle, hooking the man off-balance. The next part comes naturally. He juts his elbow up, straight into the man's jaw. He hears the sharp crack of molar against molar.

This had been discussed, with every individual's role in mind. Zachary had climbed over a stack of crates, a higher vantage point, and was crouched with handle of the ~~air rifle~~ umbrella propped on one shoulder, finger on the trigger. There's a crate shielding him mostly from sight, but enough room for him to aim towards a majority of the empty space in the warehouse. He tracks the movement of the man on the right with the tip of the weapon, breathing even and slow. He aims at the right leg, for the large muscle groups of the quadriceps or hamstrings. With the device over his shoulder, the position is so natural that perhaps he doesn't realize that he's stuck the end of his tie between his teeth. Habitual. An air rifle wouldn't have recoil. Every variable lay within predicted range, except... Before the guard on the right can properly react to Hotaru's voice, he shifts the tip of the gun a quarter of a degree in the direction of anticipated movement, then pulls the trigger. (edited)

Just out of view, a leg playfully dangles to and fro, as she sits on top from a nearby shipping container. She never had a doubt in her mind about Mr. Cade, even before she was told he was an assassin. But seeing him now, the way he appears to effortlessly glide across the pavement. The seamlessness in his movements. No hesitation. The excitement and anticipation of it all... it made her heart flutter! He really is amazing. Just as she was thinking that she didn't want to distract him from his work, it appears others had a different idea. Oh? Were they going? Were they really going?? Oh, how fun! ✨ With a little giggle, her small frame hops down from her vantage point, a ready tool to be used at anyone's disposal.

We’re talking milliseconds. 150 to 300 milliseconds, barely enough time to do anything, especially from his position. -# Not even Jordan could sink a shot in that time. What? Holding onto the Target's limp arm, Cade throws the older man over his shoulder. For a brief moment, the man flies through the air. And then he lands on the ground with another sickening crack. An oxford pushes itself down onto the man's collar, keeping him still. He pulls his 92 out of his pocket. Pointing it at the man, you hear a # BANG.

You roll on out by the woods, car coming to a stop. You have no idea where this is. You're not even sure what direction you went in. Isn't that really good, considering the context of what you're about to do?

He swings a leg out of the car and gets off of Frankie, smoothing his coat down. It's covered in speckles of blood at this point. He goes out around back to open up the trunk. He'll need some help carrying the body out and into the woods.

His arm loosens around Cade's waist, and he allows them to hop out first.

There's something to watching an entire group of criminals (by definition) squat and pick flowers. It's sort of incomprehensible, but maybe people just feel prompted to join in. Follow-the-leader. He can guess at what this might be for. He doesn't see the point behind it. The logic doesn't click. Aren't plants alive too? You pluck a dozen more lives to apologize for the two you just took. Besides, the sentiment behind it is just... If you kill someone, that's sort of it. If you commit a societal sin of this magnitude, you better be unapologetic. Take full ownership of it. Weaving flower crowns, making bouquets, or putting flowers with corpses - that's just to console the living.

His coat is buttoned up to the chest and water-repellent. A majority of the blood had beaded and rolled off. However, there are dark stains on the sleeve cuffs of his office shirt underneath. He washes his hands in the sink. He'll wait for the shower to be free.

As the girls head out, Frankie heads towards an empty stretch of kitchen counter, left of where Zachary was washing his hands. It's clean. Placing his suit down, he flattens and smooths it over the counter. The cleaner pen is set down beside a kettle. Then, flicking his wrist up towards himself, Frankie begins to undo his cuffs.

With his hands clean, he begins unbuttoning his coat and takes it off. Now in a white office shirt and tie, the ends of his sleeves are dramatically red in comparison. He rinses the splattered and dried stains off the coated fabric of the jacket with simple soap and water. He folds in half and takes it to the hooks by the door, already laden with two umbrellas, and hangs it beside them. He undoes his own tie by the door and rolls it up as he glances towards Arthur and Frankie. They're not talking to him, so he looks back down to tuck the tie into his coat pocket.

Why no one gaf. Did they all already consider the possibility that the main NPC of the Most Interesting Man in the World might not be a man? Is he a bad person? … He’s not particularly nonplussed. And it’s not like he’d be put off for any other reason than that they were purposely misled — but as someone who does that for a living, it’d be ridiculous if he were to hold that against Cade. So he doesn’t. “Can I smoke in here?” he asks.

Three minutes to shower? He looks up at the ceiling in thought, before looking at the rest of them. He nods. "There is an ashtray on the balcony, but you can bring it in."

He takes the spot cleaner with a nod. "Very well," he says to Arthur, watching him disappear to the balcony.

The sound of water comes from the bathroom. After about three minutes, Frankie emerges. He's got boxers on and his pants slung over his arm. Some of his hair is sticking up from an obvious towel rub-down. Looking around the room, he stops when he spots Zachary, then thumbs towards the restroom. "All yours."

In case there were monsters in the closet. @Zai is BACK. | Frankie 🌭 With that, he takes the stain cleaner to the bathroom and begins a somewhat tedious sleeve washing process that started with rinsing and soaking them in the cold sink water while he showered, then applying the stain remover afterwards. It’s not perfect. They’ll still come out slightly pink. He’ll deal with them later.
